Q: Is it a lot more expensive than conventional roofing material?

A: No, we believe our roofing systems offer real value for money, when you consider the technical advantages over other systems it compares very well.

Q: Do I need to see someone for a price or can you give me price over the phone?

A: No you do not always need to see one of our pricing surveyors, we can give a rough price over the phone or you can use our on-line quote system.

Q: Will it cost me any thing to get a price and advice?

A: No, we offer a free no obligation to buy site survey, the roof will be measured and we will give you a report on the roof, demonstrate the product, answer any questions and leave a price.

Q: What payment options are there?

A: You can pay at the end of all works by cheque or cash we take all credit and debit cards apart from American Express, we can arrange the Buy now Pay Later option this offsets the balance payable by 12 Months, you do incur a £70.00 fee by Barclays or we can arrange a very competitive home improvement package through Barclays.

Q: I’ve heard there are other products available, how do they compare?

A: There are other products available the most obvious is Mineral Felt and you now have EPDM (rubber) and GRP (fibreglass). It is a 100% fact that our roofing systems are superior in Quality, Proven Life, Accreditations and the Monitoring of Company Installations. The commercial sector is a very good bench mark for any product and the above have little or no recognition in this very competitive predominantly architect market place.

Q: Do I require planning?

A: This would depend on whether you are completely changing the roof appearance or making a roof into a roof garden or balcony; if in any doubt call your local planning department. If your roof is in need of insulating there is a Part L regulation to comply to.

Q: Can you walk on it?

A: Yes, Protan our preferred membrane has a unique anti slip finish and is guaranteed to be unaffected by light foot traffic, this means you can walk on it for maintenance access.

Q: Can it be used for a balcony roof?

A: Yes, it is the perfect material as it is very hard wearing and is suitable for heavy usage, you can overlay with a variety of items like timber deck, paving slabs etc.

Q: Is it environmentally friendly?

A: Yes, all our preferred Roofing Membranes have minimal impact on the environment and are recyclable.

Q: Does it require any maintenance?

A: No the Roofing System requires neither systematic maintenance nor any protection from direct sun-light as the Membranes are Solar Reflective.
